How does EDIMATO work?
EDIMATO is a service that allows companies to digitally exchange business documents such as orders, order confir­mations and invoices. Our transmission options include reading PDFs using artificial intel­ligence (AI) and digital communi­cation via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). Our service allows you to process data directly with your ERP system without manual processing. Here are the most important options that EDIMATO offers for communi­cating with your ERP system:
For some ERP systems we offer the option of connecting directly to our service without the need for any other software in between. These ERP systems are:
  • Dynamics-365 Business-Central
  • SAP R3
  • SAP S4 HANA
  • SAP S4 HANA online
For these systems, we offer all the neces­sary software and a detailed wiki that you can use to connect your system to EDIMATO yourself. If you still need support, our support team will be happy to help you.
Connect to our service via an inter­mediate EDI system. We offer a variety of trans­mission formats and trans­mission channels:
  • General EDI standards
    among others cXML, EDIFACT, EDIGURUS, EDIMATO, ESIS comfort, openTRANS, XRechnung
  • ERP-specific data formats
    among others ABAS, Infor-LN, Oxaion, SAP-IDocs
  • Individual data formats can be easily implemented
    based on JSON, TSV/CSV, TXT, XML
  • Transmission channels
    among others AS2, e-mail, pull web service, push web service, SFTP
With the help of artificial intelligence (AI), we read PDFs and convert them into data records for your ERP system. This function does not require any training and can be used immediately for a large number of business partners. The best thing about it: your business partner does not have to change their processes at all. This means that the roll-out can be implemented very quickly.
Our portal is a good solution for your suppliers who do not use their own ERP system: The supplier can use it to respond to your orders. All they have to do is adjust the data that has changed in relation to the order. This is done quickly. You will then receive the data digitally via our service; your supplier will receive a PDF with their entries for their records.
Of course, the data protection regulations of the EU and Switzerland are observed.

You can register your company with us for a free test. You can then upload some PDFs of your business partners to us. We will transform the PDFs into a data format of your choice and send you the results by e-mail.
